Privacy Policy

The short version: FisCus does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on any server. Everything you enter stays on your device and — only when you explicitly invite someone — is shared directly with their device over your local WiFi network. No cloud. No analytics. No ads.

What data the app stores

All data you enter is stored locally on your device only, in an on-device database. None of it is sent to us or to any third party.

  • Trip names, dates, and group members you add
  • Expense amounts, categories, descriptions, and receipt photos
  • Currency exchange records and settlement calculations
  • Your chosen display name and PIN (stored only on your device)
  • App settings and trial start date

Local network (WiFi) sync

FisCus can share trip data with other people on the same WiFi network — but only when you explicitly invite them with a QR code or invite code. Sync happens directly device-to-device over your local network. No data passes through any server. This feature requires ACCESS_WIFI_STATE and CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE permissions, used solely to discover and connect to devices on your network.

Camera permission

The app requests camera access to scan trip invite QR codes and to photograph receipts. Receipt photos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.

Data we do not collect

  • No account registration or login
  • No analytics or usage tracking
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No location data
  • No device identifiers sent to any server
  • No crash reports sent automatically

Third-party services

FisCus does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services.

Data retention and deletion

Your data exists only on your device. You can delete any trip — and all data associated with it — from within the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all data permanently.

Children

FisCus does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app collects no personal data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
